A small city with big views, Cashmere lies west of the Wenatchee River and is ringed by the eastern slopes of the Cascade Range. Smack dab in the middle of Washington, Cashmere is the state’s geographic center and is just around 20 minutes northwest of the city of Wenatchee. Hikers, bikers, climbers, whitewater rafters and kayakers regularly flock to the city for the easy access it gives to sites like the Peshastin Pinnacles, the Devil’s Gulch mountain bike trail and the famed rapids of the Wenatchee River.
